In 1952 Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark of Lund, Sweden, was conducting experiments on several lab rats. At a crucial point in the experiment, he realized he could not recover the titanium microscopes he'd mounted in the rats' bones. Against all scientific comprehension, the titanium had bonded with living bone tissue.

Your implant will proceed in three stages:

Stage One: Consultation

At your initial consultation, your chosen dental professional (either a periodontist or a dental surgeon qualified in dental implant procedures) will take x-rays of your mouth and conduct a full examination of your teeth and surrounding jawbone.
